Have you ever been in an airport and in need of a power outlet for your laptop or other electronic device and couldn't find an outlet to save your life, or all 2 available outlets are being used and there is a line of people waiting for one to open up? Do you find yourself asking;

Why doesn't the airport provide more outlets so everyone that needs one can get to one?

We agree that this would be wonderful. However, looking at it from the airport's point of view - what do they get out of it? Bigger electric bills, higher construction costs to install all those extra plugs and the maintenance cost to maintain the equipment. This may be offset by slightly higher airport user ratings, though that probably does not translate into revenue. So what is the solution?

Our solution is the InPower Chair. We are redesigning the standard airport gate bench seating to include pay-for-use power outlets. Every seat would have them. You sit down, plug in, stick your coins in a meter (or swipe your credit card), say 25¢ for 15 minutes, and power up. We see this as a win-win-win situation. The user is happy, the airport gets paid for the use of their electricity and they get higher user ratings, and we make a profit as a service provider.

This is another Business Plan in the very early stages of development. We are looking for entrepreneurs, design partners, airport partners and possibly vendor/service partners. If you are interested in working with us on this project please contact us ASAP.

Thanks,

Jerry
